Another Hello!

Just thought I'd take a quick second to introduce myself. My name is Tanya and I'm a 28 yr old vocalist with the band Ol'scool. We play classic and hard rock with a bit of an edge I've been singing since I could talk and I love that I do. I'm originally from Texas, but have been in CT for about 3 years now. Looking forward to getting to know some other local musicians and seeing this site grow.

John, anyone *can* sing... it's just debatable whether other people want to hear you or not LOL, I host karaoke shows part time, so believe me when I tell you.. I can promise I've heard worse

I used to date a girl years ago who loved karaoke. The first time I went with her and her turn came up, she sang Stevie Nicks in the most horrible display of "singing" I've ever heard in my life. It was painful. Afterwards, of course, she had to come back and ask me how she did. I mumbled something about "interesting interpretation" and left it at that.

Luckily, my wife knows she can't sing, saving us from public shame.
