It's about time someone "shone the light" on the Webster. I used to play there in situations where the two other bands bought their tickets outright, got later time slots, and sucked so bad it wasn't funny, while my band, that played very often, drew who we could for a gig with a national, yet not very desirable, band in a not so safe neighborhood, jerked the curtain on the show. And we always killed, even blowing the headliner off the stage on occasion. And even if you sell those tickets, you never see dime one.
I don't know which is worse: having no place for original acts to play, or having pay-for-pay.
