What are the good open mics around the area? Myself and the guitarist I'm working with are looking for a place to try out new songs and network with other musicians.

My cousin runs an open mic in the Bristol area. I'll try to find out where.
Otherwise, there's a cool blues open mic at Black Eyed Sally's in Hartford every wednesday.

Also pick up the Hartford Advocate. In the music section they are usually listed..

Wow, I haven't posted here in forever, my own board! Haha. Check out the open mic every Wed at The Main Pub in Manchester. You can book 30 min spots ahead of time. The guy who runs it is named Kevin Howard. www.mainpub.com
