CT Local Bands are doing their part to help out the victims of this terrible storm... try to get to a show if you can!
Katrina Benefit @ Toad's Place
It's a no-brainer that there was going to be benefit(s) for the victims of the Hurricane Katrina disaster and the 1st(of possibly many)that MHz will be performing at is at Toad's Place on Sunday(9/25).The price for admission is $10.00 and all proceeds will go to The Red Cross.Contact us for ticket vouchers or,just show up to the gig on the 25th as I'm pretty sure the admission price will be the same with or without vouchers.There's also going to be various raffles for some AWESOME prizes!Please do your best to come to this gig and help out all of the poor b*stards that have been touched by this tragedy.Also,if you or anyone you know would like to donate goods or services to be raffled off at the gig,please let me know. On Thursday(9/8),The Corner Pocket in Orange will be hosting a benefit for the Katrina victims as well.As in the case of Toad's,the admission price is $10.00 and all proceeds will go to The Red Cross.Admission will include a FREE buffet & FREE pool.The show starts at 7:30 and the following artists will be performing:DJ Steve,Green Inside,Stolen Cherry,6 Second Crush and Overlook.
