I posted this on the main page as well. I'll be co-hosting an open mic at Bleachers in Bristol starting Wednesday March 5th and running every Wednesday thereafter. There will be a full band playing (including me ;D ) made up of musicians from various local bands to start the night and also to provide a backing band if you choose. Come on down and play or even just chill and watch. There will be drink specials and so on. Should be a really fun time! www.bleachersbarct.com |

Well, the first open mic at Bleachers was a great success. We had a bunch of great musicians come out. We will be doing this every Wed night starting at 8:30pm. We have a lot planned for this, so expect lots of drink and food specials and some good surprises!

Any chance of scoring a gig (using the open mic as an audition)? Will the owner/booking dood be there?

Actually, for the time being, the open mic isn't going on. I think they're taking a break for the summer. From what I hear it'll be starting back up in the fall. I'll let you know!
